Please note --- This incentive is still effective as of 2012 foals sold in Sept 2013 but discontinued after Sept. 2013.

As an incentive, Tod Mountain Thoroughbreds will reward the owner of record, a $5,000 bonus on a Stakes Win and a $10,000 bonus if a horse is named Champion in his or her division.

The criteria to be eligible for such an award:

• Starting with foals of 2006.
  
  
• Only 1st stakes win is eligible by horse ($50,000 purse or more).
  
  
• Only 1st Championship is eligible by horse.
  
  
• Horse must be bred by Tod Mountain Thoroughbreds.
  
  
• Horse must be purchased from Tod Mountain Thoroughbreds directly or through a CTHS sale.
  
  
• Bonus will relate to percentage that Tod Mountain is the breeder if co-bred.
  
  
• Claimed horses are eligible for the owner of record at time of Stakes win.
  
  
• Only horses racing in British Columbia are eligible for award.
